Tracy Temmel

After growing up New York, I spent more than 15 years living and working in Colorado and Southern California, where movement and activity are deeply embedded in everyday life. Immersed in highly active communities throughout my education and early career, I discovered a passion for helping women better understand their bodies so they can rebuild, restore, and maintain active lifestyles through every stage of life — including injury recovery, pregnancy and postpartum care, and the transitions of menopause.

As an orthopedic and women’s pelvic floor physical therapist, I take a full-body approach to treatment, recognizing the interconnectedness of the body and how movement patterns influence overall health and function. My care combines hands-on therapy with exercise coaching, integrating healing and injury prevention into individualized treatment plans. Sessions may include myofascial release, joint mobilization, craniosacral techniques, pilates-based core work, and functional strength training.

I believe sustainable wellness starts with education, and personalized care. Every patient receives a treatment plan tailored to their lifestyle, goals, and stage of life, empowering them to move with greater confidence, strength, and resilience.

Outside of the clinic, I enjoy mentoring future Doctors of Physical Therapy through teaching at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in San Marcos, California. When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me exploring the Hudson Valley trails, biking, and enjoying our local coffee shops and farmers markets.
