Breathwork for Deep Winter
with Erika Forsell
Friday, Jan. 30
6:00-7:30 pm
Tiered Pricing: $30/$45/$60
Join Erika for Community Breathwork.
We will be utilizing the breath to support a harmonious relationship with the season: to keep the mind at ease, to invite warmth, rest and reflection. Breathwork is an active meditation that uses the breath to allow the mind to quiet and the body to settle. When this happens, you have access to let go of what no longer serves you and to connect with your body and intuition.

Honoring Our Dragons: Exploring Postpartum Rage
with Mary Farkas, MA, RDT, LCAT
Mon. Feb. 2
3:15-4:30 pm
$30
Poet Kate Baer describes part of mothering as having a "dragon" inside her - an apt feeling that resonates with so many of us, but that is so often unspoken.
Together, we will explore the neurobiology of rage in the postpartum period, dive into how anger reminds us of our personal and collective unmet needs and explore somatic practices to soothe and honor it.
-
Concepts in Functional Health: Food as Medicine
with Dr. Robin Flam
Thurs. Feb. 5
6:00-7:15 pm
Tiered Pricing: $18/$25/$30
Everything you ingest affects your health and wellbeing.
As soon as food enters your mouth, it ceases to be “food” and starts to be molecules your
body will use to support your functions. Similarly, oral medicine is swallowed to provide
specific molecules your body will use to address a specific functional issue. Why cant we use
food in the same therapeutic way? In other words, if we feel pain, can we eat to lessen the
pain? If we feel fatigued, why cant we eat to address that? If we have gut issues, can they be
improved by a therapeutic diet? And so forth.
We will explore how to harness the therapeutic aspects of food in a general way, and for
targeted complaints. We will talk about obstacles and strategies. Bring experiences, health
concerns, and your curiosity. This information could be useful to anyone who eats.

Compassionate Care: A Support Circle for Providers
with Sarah Capua
Fridays: Feb. 6, March 13, April 10, May 15
12:30-2:00 pm
Tiered Pricing $18/$25/$30
This group is geared toward supporting our community of holistic health providers, yoga teachers, and other spiritual caregivers. Guided by Yoga Therapist Sarah Capua, we will come together to explore the bigger questions brought up in caring for our clients, and look to the teachings of yoga as a guide for supporting our clients and ourselves. We will explore how we can understand more fully what a client is experiencing, viewing their suffering through a spiritual lens, understanding our role in the process, and exploring what is brought up in us in the act of providing care. The goal of this group is to grow from our collective curiosity and deepen our well for compassionate caregiving, so what we offer nourishes both ourselves and those we serve.

Momming Together Support Circle
Mondays, 3:15-4:30 pm
Next Dates: 2/9, 3/9
FREE
We all need a village, let’s build one!
We know that community is the antidote to…well, just about everything. But with hectic schedules and logistical overwhelm, meaningful connection can feel so out of reach. This free, monthly gathering offers a consistent space to come together – with little ones or without – and to shape the time into whatever we most need it to be.
Feel free to bring whatever you need to care for yourself and your baby. You're welcome to bring food—just for you or to share—but absolutely no pressure. This space is about easing stress, not adding to it.
Whenever possible, we'll align this gathering with Community Acupuncture. If you'd like to book a session with Erika, we’ll lovingly care for your little one while you take time to care for yourself.
No need to register, but please email Corinna below to let us know when you are coming.

In this workshop we will explore the Muladhara Chakra (Root Chakra) through education, visualization, Yoga Asana, and Myofascial Release. Chakra Yoga invites us to tap into the energetics of practice, using asana, imagery, and breath to connect with qualities we’d like to cultivate in our lives. The root chakra represents our foundation–our relationship with the Earth, and our basic security in life. In this special practice, we will utilize the myofascial release props to open up the channels that help us better connect to the ground beneath us. Through simple techniques we can all practice, we will reaffirm our power to remain rooted in this turning world.

Demystifying Perimenopause: An Integrative & Somatic Approach to Midlife Transition
with Jaime Chabuz, APRN, CNM, PMHNP-BC, PMH-C
Tuesday, March 24
6:00-7:30 pm
$60
Perimenopause is a normal biological and physiological life transition, yet many women are caught off guard by changes in mood, sleep, anxiety, energy, focus, and physical well-being — often without clear guidance or support. For many, this phase arrives with a sense of disorientation or “not feeling like myself,” as familiar ways of functioning and relating to the body begin to shift.
At the same time, today’s cultural conversation about perimenopause and menopause — while long overdue — can feel confusing and contradictory. Women are often left navigating mixed messages, outdated narratives, and gaps in clinical care, making it difficult to know what’s normal, what’s treatable, and what options truly align with their needs. This confusion can overshadow the reality that perimenopause is not only a biological transition, but also a meaningful developmental threshold in a woman’s life.
In this educational and supportive workshop, we’ll explore what’s actually happening in the body and brain during perimenopause, how hormonal changes and stress physiology influence mental and physical health, and how to approach this transition with clarity rather than fear. We’ll also acknowledge the broader psychological and relational shifts that can emerge during midlife — and how, when supported, this phase can become a time of deeper self-understanding, recalibration, and renewal.
